R&D FACILITIES
Our company operates two modern scientific facilities, where we are engaged in research, production and applications of microbiological preparations.
These are research and development laboratories in Brno and manufacturing laboratories in Ostrava.
By connecting the two workplaces, FAGOFARMA has created a unique platform in the field of bacteriophages, which allows to cover the entire spectrum of work and processes from initial research activities, through testing and optimisation of individual methodologies to introduction into the pilot scale.
RESEARCH FACILITY BRNO
Our research and development laboratories are located in the area of the JIC INBIT biotechnology incubator in Brno - Bohunice.
Modern premises, top equipment and a dynamic team of university-educated experts allow us not only to follow new trends in the field of bacteriophages and their applications, but also to design and lead our own research projects leading to a constant increase in our know-how.
Laboratories are approved to work at biosafety level 2 and are equipped with the instrumentation required for the isolation, cultivation, purification and analysis of bacteriophages and preparations prepared therefrom.
PRODUCTION LABORATORIES
ROZTOKY NEAR PRAGUE
Our production laboratories are located within the premises of VÚAB in Roztoky near Prague.
They consist of clean rooms ranging from class A to D, which are approved for work with microorganisms at biosafety level 2.
In collaboration with our partner company MB Pharma at this facility, we ensure pharmaceutical production according to the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice.
